If you have been taking online Bible study classes with Beloved Truth, there have been some changes in the last couple of months. A new ministry was (shall we say?) birthed from Beloved Truth.
All of the classes that offer studies from Precept Ministries are now offered through Digging Deeper Ministries – Equipping the saints through Inductive Bible Study. They are launching some great things over there and I highly suggest you check them out for all of your Precept needs.
With all my heart I have sought You; Do not let me wander from Your commandments. 11 Your word I have treasured in my heart, That I may not sin against You. – Psalm 119:10–11.
Over at Cornerstone Christian Community (formerly Beloved Truth), there have been many exciting changes. First and foremost is the community. It offers a variety of Bible Study classes. From Bible memorization to Bible Journaling to Historical Geography of the Holy Land and so much more is added all the time. Members pray for one another. If you are someone who doesn’t like social media, or just wants a place to focus on our Lord and Savior, this resource is for you. No politics, bashing or anything else that would seek to divide the body of Christ. And there is more happening in the next few months.
Since September my Bible study group has been studying spiritual gifts. It has been an eye-opening experience. I think many of us came away with new insights. In churches today we talked a lot about the Holy Spirit and about the things God provides us, but how many of us actually sit down and read about what God’s word has to say about the issue. I have linked a sermon from John MacArthur on 1st Corinthians 12 which talks about spiritual gifts. It is a sermon series, so every few days or so I will post another sermon series. I hope these bless you as they have me.
I was watching a sermon from John MacArthur today which I felt I needed to share. Pastor MacArthur does a phenomenal job sticking with Scripture when describing what Spiritual Warfare is, what it isn’t, and how to test the spirits. He speaks of who is responsible for doing it and why we do it.
He explains in great detail who the Holy Spirit is, and how He works in our lives. And he warns of the wolves in sheep’s clothing today, inside our church.
