Especially at this time of year it is comforting to know that you came, to restore us, to rescue us, to redeem us from the world. In this broken world, you had the grace and mercy we know that you came to take us and make us yours. The words thank you seem so inadequate. But we are forever grateful.
JEHOVAH-NISSI “God our banner.”
Under His banner we go from triumph to triumph and say, “Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ”

Lord,
As many frustrations and falterings that I may have in this broken world, You have immeasurably blessed me to tell me the end of the story — because of Christ paying the debt for my sins; because of Your incredible mercy in providing salvation; because of Your power and might and Sovereignty — You are the Victor! You will reign. The battle is won; Satan is defeated.
