Such a perfectly timed reminder. God will not allow His plans to be thwarted by my ease or comfort. Sometimesit is for our sinful nature we want ease rather than what God consides best for us and so He will be glorified through us. Please read this beautiful post by Bev Schlomann.
Elisabeth Elliot Gren quoted this phrase many times. Her quote came from a much longer poem written by Amy Carmichael, a missionary to India. I have Elliot’s biography of Carmichael, “A Chance to Die” on my bookshelf.
