What the Gospel is and why most of us don’t know it.

I was watching a sermon this morning on Romans chapter 3 – one of my favorite books of the Bible – by a pastor I had never heard of before.

I was impressed by the way he could take concepts that we new Christians in the 21st century have difficulty understanding, and explaining not only what they are but why we have difficulty understanding them. He also without apology explains what the church is doing wrong in it’s explanation of the Gospel.

Paul Washer became a believer while studying at the University of Texas. After graduating, he moved to Peru and served there as a missionary for ten years, during which time he founded the HeartCry Missionary Society in order to support Peruvian church planters. HeartCry’s work now supports indigenous missionaries throughout Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Eurasia, North America, and Latin America.

Paul now serves as one of the laborers with the HeartCry Missionary Society. He and his wife Charo have four children: Ian, Evan, Rowan, and Bronwyn

Here is the Roman 3 Video I watched this morning. I pray that it blesses you the way it has me.
